Creative Playrooms was honored by the Solon Chamber of Commerce for winning the 2008 Business of the Year Award.

Joan Wenk, M.S. Ed., President & CEO of Creative Playrooms Montessori & Child Care Centers, was awarded the 2009 U.S. Small Business Administration Entrepreneurial Success Award from the Cleveland District Office for the State of Ohio.

Creative Playrooms, a childcare center, has locations in Maple Heights, Solon, Westlake, Strongsville, Independence, and Parma.
Ms. Wenk established the business in 1968 in Maple Heights.
