Family Newsletter – September 2020

Every fall we look forward to the excitement of new routines and back to school events. This year, however, is very different and many schools have adopted remote or hybrid learning schedules. This has left many parents struggling to figure out how to be both a full-time worker AND a full-time teacher to school-aged children that are learning virtually from home. We understand the need and we have shifted our classroom offerings to add flexible school-age options for the fall. This program will provide an academic ambiance, supervision, internet connectivity, snacks and meals, light tutoring, and most importantly, the opportunity to connect socially with other kids. The American Academy of Pediatrics has stated that among other benefits of school, “Schools provide more than just academics to children and adolescents. In addition to reading, writing and math, students learn social and emotional skills…that cannot be provided with online learning.” Let us help you this fall. Talk to the Center Director for more information about our school-age program. WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!
